The Alabama Baptist will be hosting a symposium titled “The Alabama Baptist: Reflecting on its Ministry” that will present scholarly papers on the newspaper’s contribution to journalism, theological controversy, life in Alabama, and the need for the paper’s continued ministry. The symposium is co-sponsored by Samford University and will be held on March 2nd in the Regions Room of Samford University’s Cooney Hall.
The event is free and open to the public.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the speakers beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Lunch will be provided for pre-registered participants.
Pre-registration deadline is February 28.
